71st Annual Fall Window Painting Event

Four of our 5th grade students were chosen to participate in the 71st Annual Fall Window Painting Event, sponsored by The Bay Ridge Community Council. This event was held locally at Mike's Diner, located at 1454-86th Street, on Oct. 24th 2023. Our students proudly represented our school, winning gold medals for their window paintings. The artists whose artwork was featured on the windows were Artem Beloborodov of class 5-421 and Phoebe Chen of class 5-417. Student artists worked diligently over the last 3 weeks preparing their posters for the event. Both students had an assistant help with the painting. Artem's assistant was Camille Medina of class 5-419 and Phoebe's assistant was Harvey Zhong Chen. We are so proud of our magnificent artist teams. Congratulations to all on a job well done! A very special thank you goes out to our wonderful art teacher, Ms. DiTuri. Thank you for giving our students such an amazing opportunity!
